Nischita Pai

Hi there! I’m a User Experience and User Interface designer currently located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania with a passion for exploration and design. I graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a Masters in Information Sciences. I am enthusiastic about helping people and applying my abilities to create user-centric experiences and designs that simplify their lives!

I find my ‘zen’ when conducting user research and mapping out user survey findings. Working with a community of other passionate creators is a wonderful experience. With a keen interest in designing digital interfaces, I can enhance my design process when presenting solutions to problems through digital mediums.

Recently I’ve had the experience of working with a non-profit EdTech organization called International Children’s Media Center (ICMC) on the landing page redesign. I’ve also worked on a diverse spread of projects, from Edtech website redesigns to biosample research apps.

While at the University of Pittsburgh, I had my hands on a couple of front-end projects and was always fascinated with creating meaningful user experiences and interface designs. I first learned about Figma while implementing one of my projects during my Masters and then got an opportunity to work with UPMC on designing the initial version of the app for a cancer-related study. This is where I think design first found its way into my life, through the open-minded exploration of my work.

By understanding and truly valuing the journeys of others, I can design thoughtful and intuitive solutions for a wide range of projects.

I would love to meet you and have a proper introduction. If you're interested in discussing UX, accessibility, and creative designs, please connect with me on LinkedIn or email me!

Currently, I’m looking for contract work, part-time or a full-time position in the United States. Let’s chat!

LIFESTYLE

When I’m not designing, I am taking pictures with my cute animal friends, dancing, exploring a new hiking trail, biking, traveling, shopping, or even parasailing 1000ft above Lake Tahoe!
